Our infant program serves children from the ages of six weeks to eighteen months. Our social emotionally trained care givers will respond to each child's individual needs. Our goal is to ensure that infants receive the proper love, care and nurturing in order to grow and develop to his or her fullest potential. We offer flexible scheduling which allows each child to eat, sleep or play according to his or her own natural development.
Our infant room consist of age appropriate materials that that provide music, freedom of movement, and gentle stimulation. Each child would have their own crib and the attention of the same staff members daily. We also offer a low child to staff ratio. Parents will receive a written or electronic report daily including all meals, diaper changes, and sleep schedules.
Our toddler classroom is created to ensure that toddlers are receiving social emotional support through interactive play and relationship building. We provide a loving, nurturing environment for children to express themselves through music, dance and art; the furniture is child-sized and the materials are carefully chosen to meet the developmental needs of toddler aged children. The daily schedule is designed to provide opportunities for learning, nurturing, napping or socializing.
Our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) component is created to allow children to build self confidence, learn self -management all while enjoying simply having fun and being a child. We want all children to experience a place of learning and social develop that will be long lasting.
Our Pre-school program, will be built on Social Emotional Learning techniques along with Creative Curriculum. Our classroom is sectioned into artistic, intellectual and social learning centers that the children are able to visit both independently and with staff.
The entire day is based on creative balance: We will have time to learn as well as time to play. We will ensure that activities support building social skills as well as self-management. Our curriculum will review of the shapes, letters, numbers and colors. We will also explore handwriting practice through writing independently in addition to tracing. We will also introduce fun and exciting activities that will explore the world of science. We value each child individually and want to ensure that we meet their needs both educationally and emotionally.
Lilly's Pad Child Care will ensure that all provider staff are educated in SEL intervention strategies. These strategies help teach early learners: Social skills, social awareness, self awareness, self management and responsible decision making. Our child care center also focuses on mindfulness techniques in the classroom.
